Big news, I've outsmarted my computer. That's right, I can now log on with no problem, without safe mode. This makes it a lot easier to fix any remaining problems. It ended up being a problem with my antivirus software. I've still got some spyware things to fix, but I can actually startup now. w00t, and again, w00t!
